IDVA & ISVA (Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advisor)
The purpose of this service is to create a multi agency forum to protect high risk victims/survivors of abuse and their families. The IDVA works closely with partner agencies in particular the Lancashire Constabulary Public Protection Unit, Crown Prosecution Service and Lancashire Probation. Click herefor more information.
Our Counselling Service provides you with one-to-one support in a non-judgmental, emotionally supportive way and is a very valuable process for women who have suffered the effects of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence. Click here for more information.
Ethnic Minority Support
We provide culturally sensitive advice and information to those who experience or have experienced Domestic Abuse from their partner or a familiy member. We explore choices and options around safety planning to protect women and children. Support can be provided in Urdu and Gujarati. The service is available throughout Blackburn and Darwen.
